The Lyle Area Cancer Auction moved into its second day of its 46th annual event Saturday.
It follows a successful first day Friday night where the auction raised $83,004, $48,299 of which was raised by 9:30 p.m.
One of the items, a volleyball, has been re-auctioned to the point where as of the start of Saturday’s auction had raised $10,600.
“Yesterday was amazing,” LAC Chair Larry Ricke told Saturday’s crowd. “It’s cold out there, but it gets hot in here.”
