The Minnesota House Labor & Workforce Committee is coming to Austin to hear directly from employers and business owners in southern Minnesota about the challenges they face in today’s labor market and the impact of recent legislative changes. This free, in-person event will take place at 8:30 a.m.on Friday, Feb. 7, at 8:30 a.m. at the Hormel Historic Home and is open to all businesses in southern Minnesota.

Hosted in cooperation with the Austin Area Chamber of Commerce, the session will be led by Rep. Dave Baker and Rep. Patricia Mueller, who are committed to gathering “real world” feedback from employers to help inform future legislative decisions.

“This is a valuable opportunity for businesses to share their insights and challenges directly with lawmakers who are eager to listen and advocate for policies that support a thriving business environment in Minnesota,” said Joe Bower, President of the Austin Area Chamber of Commerce.
