In recognizing the news that the United Way of Olmsted County has changed its name to the United Way of Southeast Minnesota, Mower County’s arm will continue to serve the county as it always has.

The United Way of Mower County congratulated its neighbors at United Way of Southeast Minnesota on the change that reflects their expanded service area and impact. Late last week the change was announced to better reflect its service of Dodge, Fillmore, Olmsted and Winona counties.

At the same time, the United Way of Mower County is letting its partners and supporters know that it remains an independent organization, fully dedicated to serving Mower County. The mission and focus has not changed and it will continue to work alongside local partners, invest in community driven solutions, and ensure that every dollar raised stays in Mower.
