Eula N. Dennis, 81

Eula Norma Dennis, 81, of rural Austin, died Friday, Oct. 18, 2002, at her home.

She was born Dec. 16, 1920, in Oakland Township, to Joseph F. and Golda Mae (Kirkpatrick) Dvorak. She attended school in Lyle, graduating in 1939.

On June 1, 1940, she married Stanley M. Dennis at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. They lived in the Austin area until 1949, when they moved to a farm in rural Udolpho Township.

Eula was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church and Marion Circle. She enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, quilting and spending time with her family.

Survivors include husband, Stanley Dennis, rural Austin; children, Eugene (Donna) Dennis, Austin; Everett (LaVonne) Dennis, New Port Richey, Fla.; Janice Dennis, Austin; Dixie (Dale) Burtch, Onawa, Iowa; Daryl (Connie) Dennis, Redmond, Wash.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; relatives and friends.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002, at the funeral home and Thursday at the church for one hour before the service.

Service: 1:30 p.m., Thursday, at the Westminster Presbyterian Church with Rev. Andrew M. Lindahl officiating.

Interment: Oakwood Cemetery.
