Thalamus Howard Wilson, 32, faces one count of felony domestic assault and two counts of violating a Domestic Abuse No Contact Order.

The alleged assault happened around 1:30 a.m. the morning of June 22 when Wilson and the woman got into a verbal argument that led to the woman asking Wilson to leave and putting some of his belongings outside.

The woman told law enforcement this is not the first time Wilson has assaulted her, although she did not call the police for the other alleged incidents.

She said Wilson pushed her, causing her to fall down two steps at the bottom of the staircase, a court complaint states. When officers questioned Wilson, he said he “did not touch her” and only “pushed her.”

According to court documents, Wilson has two previous domestic assault convictions and one third-degree assault conviction in Mower County.

His jury trial is scheduled for Oct. 3.
