Festival had something for everyone

It was four days of non-stop entertainment in the midst of a summer heat wave.
Which makes it even more remarkable how Austin was able to have a continuous celebration from Thursday to Sunday -- including two displays of fireworks.
We tip our hat to the festival organizers, but more importantly to the approximately 400 volunteers that helped out at the event.
From Bandshell Park, to Mill Pond, from downtown Austin all the way to Holiday Inn parking lot, festivalgoers busied themselves with food, entertainment and fun.
It was nice to see different activities for people of all different ages. If you didn't care to play mini-golf downtown, you could hear blues musicians play by the freeway. The mixture of events helped make this community festival one to remember.
