YMCA of Austin hosting annual 5K Run/Fun Walk
The YMCA of Austin will again be hosting the annual YMCA 5K Run/Fun Walk to celebrate fitness.
Proceeds from the event, which will be run Saturday, June 15, will benefit the Y's Financial Assistance program. The race begins at 9 a.m.

Former coach back to host Packer girls basketball camp
Austin High School head girls' basketball coach Gary Peterson will be hosting the 2002 Packer Girls' Basketball Camp for interested girls entering grades 5-9 next week in the Packer Gym.
The campers will join AHS coaches and players in reinforcing the fundamental skills of basketball, including dribbling, shooting, rebounding, passing, defense, screening and team play. There will be 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 games played.
