ST. PAUL, Minn. — A St. Paul teenager is hospitalized with serious burns after he was set on fire Wednesday, allegedly by his mother’s boyfriend.

Police say a 54-year-old man was arrested after he doused the 19-year-old in lighter fluid and set him on fire. Officer John Keating says the teen was taken to Regions Hospital and is expected to survive. He suffered burns to his face, hands and chest.

Keating said a motive for the attack is not known.
