The top doubles pairing of Mike Cavanaugh and Tucker Schieck showed their best perormance yet, but came up short in losing the tie-breaking third set to Owatonna's John Schriner and Paul Comaher, 6-1, 5-7, 6-3.

"They played the best match by far," said Austin coach Matt Cavanaugh. "They are continuing to improve and are still the bright spot so far."
