A Milwaukee woman reported that she was assaulted by another Milwaukee woman early Saturday in downtown Austin.

Deneta Harrington, 32, told police she was parked in the Plaza Lot when a 27-year-old woman attacked her while sitting in the vehicle.

The 27-year-old Milwaukee woman then left the scene in another vehicle, according to a police report.

Police attempted to locate the alleged suspect but were unsuccessful. An arrest warrant, along with a criminal complaint, is likely forthcoming in Mower County court.

It is unclear if the two knew each other or traveled from Wisconsin together.
