With the attention having faded from the six-month anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has made a thoughtful choice to let the families of the passengers of United Flight 93 listen to the plane’s cockpit voice recorder sometime next month.
For the families aboard the three planes that crashed that day, there’s likely many unanswered questions.
The FBI is deviating from procedure in allowing these family members of this flight to listen to these tapes.
However, it’s a thoughtful – and correct – move to help give some type of closure to families whose grief may never end.
