A big rig rolled over Sunday evening at the cloverleaf interchange for Interstate 90 and Interstate 35 near Albert Lea, blocking traffic for hours.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the 2006 International tractor-trailer was eastbound on I-90 and took the ramp to go north on I-35. The driver weaved onto the shoulder and lost control. The truck rolled over and ended up blocking the right lane of northbound I-35. The State Patrol places the time of the rollover at 5:15 p.m.
Authorities with the State Patrol, Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office and Albert Lea Police Department responded. It took crews 2 1/2 hours to clear the blocked lane.
