Get ready to bring your pooch to the pool.

The annual “Doggy Dip” at the Austin Municipal Pool will take place from 7 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 14. The Austin Municipal Pool will be open for people and their canine pets to swim.

The cost is $2 for one dog and two human companions. Additional human companions will be charged $1. Dogs must have proof of current vaccinations and licenses.

People are expected to take full responsibility for their dogs. This includes proper disposal of dog waste, controlling their dog and any inappropriate or aggressive behavior.

Double K Specialty has donated several “doggy door prizes.”
