Farmland is no stranger in Mower County, and neither is the Crop Production Field Day, which will host its 40th anniversary show Aug. 24 at Keith and Jay Kuiters’ Farm.

This year’s topics include new corn products, cash flow, herbicides, soybean updates, legalities and the past four decades of farming. A wealth of speakers will be on hand, and registration begins 9:30 a.m. The field day celebration is located a quarter-mile south of Clarks Grove on County Road 45. The event is free and open to the public and includes a lunch afterward.
