Austin residents and other locals will get to see the Hormel Institute’s world-renowned facility for one last time this summer.

It’s the last of The Hormel Institute’s monthly, summer open houses for 2011. Guests will get to see a DVD about The Hormel Institute’s history, research, a 3-D computer imaging demo, supercomputer room and walking tour showcasing the lobby will all be available to the public 3 to 7 p.m., Aug. 25, at the Institute’s facility just off of I-90 and 6th St. NE. The event is free.
