Lillian A. Tollefson/Brady, 82, of Austin, died Aug. 30, 2011, at Regency Care Center in Norwalk, Iowa.

She was born Feb. 21, 2011, in Big Lake, Minn., to Frances (Bergeson) and Percy Cook.

She was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Eagles, St. Olaf Church and enjoyed embroidery, crafts, painting and music.

She is survived by her daughters, Carol Bitar, Newnan, Ga., Cindy and John Eaton, Newnan, Ga., Wendy and Tim Markey, Indianola, Iowa; sister, Helen Broitzman, brothers, Larry and Pat Avery; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Glenn Cook; sister, Mable Bartle; husbands, James Brady and Paul J. Tollefson; stepsons, DuWayne and Daryl Tollefson.

There will be a 1:30 p.m. life celebration at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin with a luncheon following at the Austin VFW. Inurnment will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Austin. Memorials can be sent to the family of Wendy Markey, 6996 Fillmore St., Indianola, IA 50125.
