The 22nd annual All Star-Jaycee International Youth Baseball Tourney will get under way Friday morning with opening ceremonies at 10:30 a.

The 22nd annual All Star-Jaycee International Youth Baseball Tourney will get under way Friday morning with opening ceremonies at 10:30 a.m. and will continue through Sunday afternoon with the championship game scheduled for 3 p.m.
The tournament takes place at Todd Park. A total of 16 teams from two states, Minnesota and Wisconsin, and one Canadian province, Ontario, will participate.
The tourney is dedicated to Walt Hall for his contributions to the youth of Austin. Hall will be honored during opening ceremonies. Steve Rizzi, an Austin All Star board member, will be the master of ceremonies and the VFW Color Guard will be on hand.
The 16 teams are from – Austin (Jaycees); Lomira, Wis., Fond du Lac, Wis.; La Crosse Shelby, Wis.; Albert Lea; Rochester; Mankato; Northfield; Goodview; Thunder Bay, Ontario (Current River, Continentals, Westfort and Port Arthur).
The Jaycees will be in the same division as Lomira, Mankato Red and the Continentals. At 11:30 a.m. Friday, the Jaycees play Lomira, at 3:30 Friday they play Mankato Red. Then they complete division play at 10 a.m. Saturday.
