A story that ran Friday about board member Curt Rude’s potential removal from the school board stated that board chairperson Richard Lees originally recruited Rude to run for election.

On Friday, Lees said he did not recruit Rude.

Also in Friday’s paper, a story named Austin as one of 23 Minnesota schools set to get grants for cutting carbon. While the high school has taken part in projects to cut carbon, it was not awarded one of the grants.
