Reid

Jeffrey Scott Reid was born to parents John and Jane Reid on March 19, 1960, in Albert Lea.

He graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1978 and Mankato State University in 1983. With two degrees in five years he moved to the Twin Cities. With his love of numbers Jeff thought he would like to be an accountant but quickly learned that he was also a people person while working at GE. He then transitioned to computer sales and also sought to be the No. 1 sales guy. Later he combined both of his degrees and people skills while working at Lawson Software. Jeff then started his consulting business and worked with some of the following companies: Home Depot, Mayo Clinic, along with some other Fortune 500 companies. Some things Jeff was passionate about: time with family and friends, camping and fishing and playing or watching sports such as volleyball, softball and basketball. He closely followed the Minnesota Vikings and Twins. If you were to ask him who wore a particular number on either team he could tell you the players name and stats including the college. Recently, he enjoyed following the Minnesota Lynx with daughter Lillian.

Jeff met Monica while playing volleyball in 1997. They became engaged later that year and had a beautiful wedding on Oct 3, 1998. On Feb. 12, 2002, they were blessed with the birth of their daughter Lillian Elizbeth. Just a few short years later their family was complete with the birth of Jacob Leonard on March 11, 2004. He was a loving husband to Monica for 12 years; father to Lillian and Jacob; son to John (late) and Jane; “favorite” brother to Jean (Dr. Mark Sabre) and Judy (Sean Ray); son-in-law to George and Sarah Pemsl; and brother-in-law to Maria (Eddie Dowling) and Gretchen (Keith Heiar). He was loved by Dagmer and Amandus Jensen (late maternal grandparents); Robert and Elinor Reid (late paternal grandparents); uncle Ken and Lil Jensen; uncle Bob and Karen Reid (both late); aunt Ethel and Joe Hilton (both late); aunt Luella and Delmore Fenske (late); and cousins, nieces and nephews.
