The Austin girls tennis team picked up its first win of the season when it beat Faribault 5-2 on the road Tuesday.

Freshman Alicia Sforza picked up a tough 6-4, 6-7, 7-5 win over Thao Nguyen at No. 1 singles for the Packers (1-3 overall, 1-2 Big Nine) and the No. 1 doubles team of Olivia Grev and Christine Barinka won 6-2, 6-0.
