The Southland volleyball team lost to Fillmore Central (4-1 overall) by scores of 25-20, 25-13, 25-18 in Adams Thursday.

The Rebels (5-8 overall) were led by Haley Kirkpatrick, who had seven kills.

“We played flat tonight,” Southland head coach Angie Smith said. “We just couldn’t get a spark going to give the girls some momentum. Fillmore Central has a quick offense with some big hitters and we were too slow on defense to stop them.”
