Southland senior center Haley Janssen scored 30 points to pace the Rebel girls to a 67-57 win over Plainview/Elgin/Millville (2-14 overall) in Adams Thursday.

The Rebels (6-11 overall) led 46-23 at the half but struggled a little bit early in the second frame before regaining their steam.

“The first half was a real good effort,” Southland head coach Bob Sheehan said.
