Jeffrey Hansen

Jeffrey Hansen, 37, of West St. Paul, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at United Hospital, St. Paul, on Friday, May 28, 2010.
He was born Jan. 22, 1973, to Gene and Linda (Hollerud) Hansen in Austin. Jeff lived in Austin until age 10, then moved to the St. Paul area. Jeff was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, snowmobiling, and riding his four-wheeler. Jeff also had a good sense of humor.
He survived by his mother, Linda Dupois of Little Canada; grandmother, Emily Hansen of Austin; fiancé, Shelly Stephens of West St. Paul; brother, Michael Dupois of White Bear Lake; uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gene M. Hansen; grandfathers, Morris Hansen and Leonard Hollerud; grandmother, Ruth Swain.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at Six Mile Grove Lutheran Church in Lyle, Minn. with the Rev. Lydia Mittag officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service.
