Annette M. Iverson, 83
Annette M. Iverson, age 83 of Austin died on March 29, 2009 at Austin Medical Center in Austin.
She was born May 13, 1925 in Owatonna, Minn. to Elmer and Mabel (Balstad) Denker. Annette graduated from the Owatonna High School and worked in the Dietary Department at St. Olaf Hospital and the Austin Medical Center until her retirement. She was married to Leland L. Iverson on Feb. 12, 1972 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Annette enjoyed taking fishing trips and car rides as well as a trip to the dog races and playing the organ.
Annette is survived by her husband, Leland L. Iverson, Austin; children, Douglas (Shirley) Schuler, Cannon Falls, Minn.; Diann (Randy) Mytten, Wabasha, Minn., Donna (Dennis) Brown, Omaha, Neb., Duane (Annette) Schuler, Austin, Minn., Michael (Pauline) Iverson, Austin; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mabel Denker; in-laws, Anna and Edward Bahl; brother-in-law, Howard Bahl; son, Leonard Iverson and granddaughter, Denise.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 2, 2009 at the Clasen-Jordan Chapel with the Reverend Pam Aandahl Solberg officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Austin. Visitation will be at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary on Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM and for one hour before the service on Thursday.
Honorary bearers will be Andrew Gusa, Sammy Jo Gusa, Nick Holst, Rylee Holst, Corey Schuler, Shay Schuler, Jacob Sundheim and Madeline Sundheim.
Casket Bearers will be Chad Schuler, Derrick Brown, Jamie Gusa, Scott Holst, Matthew Schuler and Andy Bakritges.
