Lyndsey Hoppe, daughter of Neal and Cindy Drefke and the late Jim Hoppe of Spencer, Iowa, and Jens Raffelson, son of David and Brenda Raffelson of Austin, Minn., proudly announce their engagement.

Lyndsey is a special education teacher with Austin Public Schools, and Jens is a bicycle mechanic at Rydjor Bike Shop in Austin.

The couple will unite in marriage on Oct. 22, 2011, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin.
