Austin residents will get plenty of chances to meet prospective Austin Public School board candidates in coming weeks.

A school board candidate forum will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26. The forum is hosted by the Chamber of Commerce Affairs Committee and KAUS Radio.

The League of Women Voters will hold another forum at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, which will be held at the City Council Chambers. This forum will also include questions in writing from the public.

The candidates for this year’s election are incumbents Kathy Green and Don Fox, along with Angie Goetz, Carol McAlister, Jeff Ollman, Greg Larson.
