The Austin girls hockey team won 2-0 against Mankato East in Austin on Tuesday.

Austin (5-4-1 overall) scored twice within a minute during the first period.

“In the first period we played really well but our floor checking was not as good as it could’ve been,” said Austin head coach Denny Bray.

Austin goalie Audrey DeVries had 32 saves and got her second shut out of the season.
