The Blooming Prairie volleyball team couldn’t handle some tough serving at the wrong time in a five-game loss by scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-27, 25-22, 16-14 to Waterville/Elysian/Morristown in BP Thursday.
W/E/M (1-1 overall) served aces for its 14th and 16th point of the deciding match after BP (1-1 overall) had led 13-11.
“We had some serve receive issues at the end and we got a little rattled,” BP head coach Gina McLaughlin said. “We knew this would be a fight coming in and we did show good things by coming back in game three.”
BP had trailed 22-18 in the third game before rallying to tie at 23.
