Guns missing after apparent burglary

An Austin Township man is missing several guns after an apparent burglary Tuesday.
The incident occurred on 175th Street sometime between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m., when the 30-year-old homeowner was away.
He got home to find his garage door kicked in and a number of items missing. This included two 12-gauge shotguns, a rifle, another gun, a DVD player, a diamond ring and a checkbook.
The missing items are valued at roughly $8,400, according to a sheriff’s department report.
No suspects have been identified at this time.
