An Albert Lea man accused of sexually abusing two children over a five-year span was expected to enter a plea agreement Monday in Freeborn County District Court.
Allen Ross Camerer, 42, faces seven counts of criminal sexual conduct.
Court documents state Camerer allegedly engaged in sexual conduct, including intercourse, with the two victims on multiple occasions.
Freeborn County Attorney Craig Nelson said Camerer is expected to plead guilty to one count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct as part of a plea agreement. The other five charges would then be dismissed.
According to reports, Camerer spoke with authorities on May 12, at which time he “stated no admission of having contact or sexual intercourse … and did not know why they would say that he had had sexual contact and sexual intercourse with them.”
Nelson said Camerer likely faces four years in prison.
