In response to the Tuesday, Nov. 17 Austin Daily Herald headline regarding the proposed wind turbine city ordinance and, in particular, my quotation which opposed this ordinance.

Wind turbines belong in rural areas only and, for the present time, they seem to be somewhat problem free. Although, time will tell if this remains to be true.

At present, the fate of the Austin city residents lies in the hands of a select few. Let us hope and pray they will make the correct decision, and we will not be forced to tolerate something that can be a health hazard and a constant annoyance.
