The Blooming Prairie boys took first and the BP girls were fourth out of eight teams at the New Richland Invite.

Jake Ellwood took fourth and Adam Driessen took fifth.

“This run tonight was a big accomplishment for the boys,” BP head coach John Bruns said. “The key tonight was our fourth to sixth men stepping up and running their best races of the year. We have been talking about getting the spread from first to fifth down to a minute or less. We weren’t quite there tonight, but it was a lot better than it has been.”
