Northfield tops Austin swim team

The Austin girls swimming and diving team fell to Northfield 98-83 at Ellis Middle School Tuesday.

Austin sophomore Helen Heimark won the 500-yard freestyle by just over a second, Kelli Bednar won the 100-yard breastroke and the 400-yard freestyle relay team of Averi Splinter, Heimark, Lindsey Halsey and Brooke Johnson took first.
