The Cedar River in Austin and Lansing are under flood warnings, according to the National Weather Service.

While the Cedar River in Austin is under the warning, the river is not expected to reach the flood stage, which is set at 15 feet, according to the NWS. The river is expected to reach its highest point —14.7 feet — by 7 a.m. Friday.

By 7 p.m. tonight, the river is expected to reach 12.4 feet.
