Here are the picks:

New York Jets at Buffalo

Pick: JETS

The Jets are surviving without Darrelle Revis and their offense is starting to come around with the maturation of QB Mark Sanchez.

The Bills are good enough to keep games competitive (like against New England last week), but not good enough to beat any quality opponents.

Cincinnati at Cleveland

Pick: BENGALS

The battle of Ohio goes to the Bengals.

Baltimore at Pittsburgh

Pick: STEELERS

Ever wonder if Ben Roethlisberger was a bit overrated? He’s played on two Super Bowl Championship teams, but those squads had solid defenses and good running games.

I think the fact that the Steelers are 3-0 and could be 4-0 with the likes of Dennis Dixon and Charlie batch at the helm says he’s not as good as his reputation.

Denver at Tennessee

Pick: TITANS

Time for Chris Johnson to start putting up 200-yard rushing games again.

Detroit at Green Bay

Pick: PACKERS

The Packers did everything they could to lose to the Bears on Monday night and still had a chance to win in the fourth quarter.

If Green Bay is half as good as I believe them to be then this one should be over by the third quarter.

San Francisco at Atlanta

Pick: FALCONS

The preseason darling 49ers continue to crash as fans ponder why Alex Smith keeps getting chances at quarterback.

Carolina at New Orleans

Pick: SAINTS

The Panthers threw the white flag on the season when they announced Jimmy Clausen was the starter at QB and the Saints will be looking to avenge a tough overtime loss to the Falcons last week.

Seattle at St. Louis

Pick: SEAHAWKS

The Rams surprisingly knocked off the Redskins last week, but Steven Jackson’s health is a question mark.

Indianapolis at Jacksonville

Pick: COLTS

The Jags scored just three points against an Eagles’ defense that had allowed over 20 points to the Packers and Lions.

Houston at Oakland

Pick: TEXANS

The Raiders are kind of like the Lions this year. They’re better, but still not good.

Washington at Philadelphia

Pick: REDSKINS

Donovan McNabb makes his return to Philly and I think his teammates are going to go all out to make sure he shows he’s still got something left.

Arizona at San Diego

Pick: CHARGERS

The Chargers have dropped two heartbreakers at the end of the game. Maybe this week they win comfortably.

Chicago at New York Giants

Pick: BEARS

Every year there seems to be an NFL team that defies all logic and wins in spite of itself on a regular basis. The Bears seem to be the candidate for that team as they fluked wins over Detroit and Green Bay.

As for the Giants, they seem to be headed in the wrong direction after blowout losses to the Colts and Titans.

New England at Miami

Pick: DOLPHINS

I don’t think a New England defense that allowed 30 points to the Bills will hold off the rushing duo of Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams. Plus, Brandon Marshall gives the Dolphins a big receiving threat they haven’t had in years.
