MINNEAPOLIS — A man was killed and a woman critically wounded after someone shot at a car in north Minneapolis.
Police say they were called to the intersection of Plymouth and Washington Avenues Saturday evening on a report of a car accident. But Sgt. John Sullivan says officers arrived and realized it was a shooting.
There were no immediate arrests. Sullivan says the woman had surgery and was in critical condition Sunday with a gunshot wound to the head.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the man as 37-year-old Frank Sam Early of Minneapolis. Officials say he died of a gunshot wound and the death was ruled a homicide.
