A woman residing in Austin is wanted on a warrant for aggravated forgery after police searched her residence earlier this month.

Rocio Aguilar-Vasquez, 22, faces three counts of the felony-level offense in Mower County district court, and could potentially face deportation in federal court.

Aguilar-Vasquez’s 604 Seventh Ave. NW home was searched on June 4 as part of an ongoing investigation into Gabino Reyes-Sandoval, 26, who she reportedly lived and raised children with.

Reyes-Sandoval had also been charged with felony forgery after he provided fraudulent identification following a May 31 traffic stop. According to a criminal complaint, Reyes-Sandoval was working at Quality Pork Processors in Austin under the name “Andrew James Canales.”

He told authorities that he purchased identification documents in that name from someone he met at the grocery store Tienda y Taqueria Guerrero, 301 Fourth Ave. NE. The store’s owner denied being involved in sales like that.

During the June 4 search, authorities found a number of documents in the name “Sharon Mungia,” some of which had identical photographs as documents in Aguilar-Vasquez’s name. Included in the fraudulent documents were pay stubs from Select Foods in Albert Lea, a Social Security card and tax receipts. Aguilar-Vasquez and Reyes-Sandoval also allegedly had a fraudulent WIC account set up for their children.
