The Austin boys soccer team closed out its regular season with a 2-0 win at South St. Paul (6-11-1 overall) Saturday.

Jake Hagen-Erickson scored on an assist from Francisco Torres in the first half and Pedro Herrera scored in the second half on an assist from Julio Carbajal.

The Packers (10-5-2 overall) will open the Section 1A soccer tournament on Tuesday. Austin is seeded No. 2 and will host Stewartville (0-11 overall) Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Rochester Lourdes (12-2-3 overall) is the No. 1 seed of Section 1A.
