The Blooming Prairie volleyball team was without its usual setter, but it still swept Alden/Conger (4-17 overall) by scores of 25-19, 25-21, 25-15 on the road Monday.

Marissa Noble sat out of the match with an illness, but Kiersten Wencl came in and had 33 assists for BP (9-15 overall).

“Kierstin filled in for her and did a nice job,” BP head coach Gina McLaughlin said. “Our team took a little while to adjust to Kierstin’s style, but by the third game Kierstin was able to connect with her hitters.”
