Walter Frank Stoll, 75, of Austin, died Nov. 20, 2011, in Rochester from a heart attack.

He was born Dec. 2, 1935, in Mankato, Minn., to Emil August Stoll and Leta Mary Wade Stoll. On May 4, 1963, he married Dee Best in Mankato. Walter worked at Hormel Foods for 30 years. He enjoyed golf, gardening, casinos, yardwork, cutting wood, collecting coins and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Dee Stoll; children, Kathryn (Chris) Larson, Brenda (Richard) Reeder, Cynthia (Jared) Jacobson; brothers, Robert (Carol), Rolland (Joanne), Donald (Kathi); sisters, Bonita (Wilbur Rollings), De De Stoll; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister and brother-in-law, Marlys and Carl Thelemann.
