The candidates for Minnesota’s 1st Congressional District gathered in Mankato for a spirited debate on Monday, October 11. DFL Rep. Tim Walz, Republican Randy Demmer, and IP candidate Steven Wilson discussed health care reform, federal budget deficit and the wars in the Middle East.

The debate will air in its entirety on KSMQ Public Television on Wednesday, Oct. 13 at 8 p.m. and again on October 21 at noon.
