I didn’t know that we could vote to make a difference for our schools. Sometimes as parents we only focus on how good our children are doing in school. But we don’t think what could happen if we don’t have enough funds in our district to support our schools. First of all, in my experience here in Austin Schools, I can say that I have received a lot of help for my son who needs special education. I have seen a difference in him since the day that he started school. I am planning to vote yes on November 2 because I know that my taxes will not increase. If we all vote yes, we will make a difference for our schools.
