Eric Vandenberg of Austin took 234th place out of 1,634 runners with a time of 3:30:08 in the IMT Marathon in Des Moines, Iowa Saturday.

Christopher Anderson of Austin took 1,128th place with a time of 4:41.28.

There were six Austin runners in the half-marathon at Des Moines.

Aaron Asmus was 117th out of nearly 4,000 runners with a time of 1:31:24, Michele Asmus was 442nd with a time of 1:44:08, Cassie Gorman was 608th with a time of 1:48:11, Brian Gorman was 1,537th with a time of 2:03:13, Geoff Baker was 1,927th with a time of 2:09:00 and Diane Baker was 1,928th with a time of 2:09:01.
