I believe that one of the greatest strengths of our country is the provision of quality public education.

As a resident of this community, I believe it is my responsibility to contribute to the support of our local educational system. The Austin Public Schools work hard to maintain a quality system and they have earned my support.

It is time for those of us who have benefitted from our own public educations to provide for the next generation of students by voting to renew the existing operating referendums. The beauty of a “yes” vote is that our taxes will not increase. The district responded to the previous vote by trimming the budget. Now it is time to do our part.

Please get out on November 2nd and vote “yes” for kids. Don’t leave it to others to make a difference in the life of our children.
