The Riverland women’s basketball team tallied its sixth straight win when it beat Hibbing 76-57 in Riverland Gym Saturday.
RCC (7-2 overall) broke open a close game when it turned up the defensive pressure in the second half.
“I think they were a little worn down and were able to press them and force a lot of turnovers,” RCC head coach Suzy Hebrink said.
Brittany Murphy, a freshman from Minneapolis, led the Blue Devils with 17 points.
“She played a great game and really boosted our defense in the second half,” Hebrink said.
The Blue Devils have won their last four games by at least 15 points.
