Bruins sign new lease with City of Austin

The Austin Bruins announced Thursday afternoon that they will be signing a new lease with the City of Austin later this month.
Details for the signing were not available, but will be released at the time of the signing.
“We are excited to continue to build on what we have accomplished in our first two seasons thus far,” said Craig Patrick, Bruins’ owner.
The Bruins are 25 games into their second season in Austin and have a 14-9-2 record. They’re are currently tied for second in the NAHL Central Division with Alexandria. Both teams are chasing Bismarck with a 21-5 record.
“The team has really come together under head coach Chris Tok and is a force to be reckoned with in the NAHL,” Patrick said. “Chris is a strong coach who very positively affects our players.”
