OFFENSE

Quarterback — Luc Zellmer, Blooming Prairie

The senior quarterback missed five games with an injury this fall, but he still broke the career Minnesota touchdown pass record with 102 in three years as a starter. Zellmer finished his senior season with 1,731 yards passing, 24 touchdowns and 9 interceptions, while completing 56 percent (125-220) of his passes for BP (11-2 overall).

Running back — Mike Goergen, Southland

The junior speedster was named Three Rivers South offensive player of the year as he led the Division with 20 total TDs. Goergen racked up 706 yards on the ground (5.8 per carry) and hauled in 21 passes for 310 yards (14.8 per catch).

Running back — Tyler Kressin, Southland

The shifty senior back finished with 732 rushing yards (6.8 per carry) and he caught 9 passes for 131 yards (14.6 per catch). Kressin scored 9 TDs on the season for the Rebels (8-3 overall).

Running back — Lucas Roe, LeRoy/Ostrander

The junior was responsible for 67 percent (1,576) of the Cardinals’ total yards and 64 percent (91) of their points this season. He ran for 991 yards and 13 TDs (5.5 per carry) and caught 24 passes for 295 yards (12.3 per catch). Roe also completed 12 of 26 passes for 290 yards and 3 TDs with 0 interceptions. On defense, Roe compiled 157 total tackles with an interception and five fumble recoveries for L/O (2-7 overall).

Wide Receiver — Gabe Kartes, BP

The senior used his speed on a variety of routes and he finished with 66 catches for 1,090 yards (16.5 per catch) and 15 TDs. Kartes also ran for 463 yards (6.9 per carry) and 5 TDs.

Wide Receiver — Michael Thomas, BP

The junior deep threat hauled in 42 passes for 812 yards (19.3 per catch) and 9 TDs for BP.

OL — Andrew Hagan, Austin

The sophomore used his size and strength to control the line for the Packers.

OL — Tyler Kloeckner Southland

The senior helped pave plenty of holes for Southland’s aggressive running attack.

OL — Alex Fiebiger, Blooming Prairie

The senior gave BP solid play up front all season long.

OL — Jake Koenigs, Southland

The senior gave the Rebels a strong push up front as he was a physical presence for the run-heavy Rebels.

OL — Jason Jirele, BP

The junior center provided a physical push and solid pass blocking for the Awesome Blossoms.

DEFENSE

DL — Drew Loecher, Southland

Despite the fact that he was playing with injuries to both of his knees throughout the season, the senior racked up 12 sacks for the Rebels.

DL — Alex Fiebiger, BP

The senior defensive end was a force on the edge as he finished with 93 tackles and 6.5 sacks for BP.

DL — Jake Jorgenson, Hayfield

The senior was a big force up front as he had 44 tackles, 1 sack, 1 interception and 1 touchdown.

LB — Richard Bain, GM

Despite missing two and a half games, the senior still finished with 103 tackles and three sacks. As a running back, he rushed for 736 yards and 11 TDs while averaging 5.8 yards per carry.

LB — Luke Hueman, BP

The senior was a physical presence in the middle of BP’s defense as he racked up 138 total tackles.

LB — Ben Wolterman, Southland

A starter since he was an eighth grader, the senior was named Three Rivers South defensive player of the year this past season. He finished with 95 tackles 4 interceptions, 3 fumble recoveries and 6 sacks.

LB — Anthony Condit, Austin

The hard hitting senior was a terror on the edge rush as he finished with 87 tackles and 5 sacks for Austin (0-9 overall).

CB — Andrew Bell, Grand Meadow

The junior had 109 total tackles, 2 interceptions, 2 sacks, and one blocked kick for the Superlarks (8-3 overall).

CB — Lucas Barkuloo, Hayfield

The senior ball hawks had five interceptions and 24 tackles.

S — Michael Thomas, BP

The junior finishes with 80 total tackles and five interceptions.

S — Decker Bendtsen, Southland

The junior finished with three interceptions as he patrolled the secondary for Southland.

HONORABLE MENTION

Nick Schmitz, RB, Southland

The junior back thrived on runs up the middle as he ran for 569 yards (7.4 per carry) and he caught 12 passes for 108 yards (9 per catch). Schmitz scored 11 TDs for the Rebels.

Perry Stejskal, RB/LB, GM

The junior led GM with 119 total tackles despite missing three games to injury. He also had 671 yards rushing (5 per carry) and scored 10 TDs.

Jake Jorgenson, OL, Hayfield

The senior was a physical presence for the Vikings (0-9 overall) all season.

Jonny Kraling, RB, BP

The senior was the primary ball carrier for BP as he finishes with 758 rushing yards (4.7 per carry) and 6 TDs. He also caught 15 passes for 162 yards (10.8 per catch) and 3 scores.

Schmitz

Caleb Gilbertson, WR, Hayfield

The senior speedster averaged 15 yards per catch as he hauled in 40 catches for 601 yards and two touchdowns.

Gabe Kartes, BP, CB

The senior picked off three passes on the defensive side of the ball.

Landon Jacobson, RB, GM

The freshman ran for 772 yards (5.7 average) and had 11 total TDs. He also had 647 return yards.

S — Coty Kirtz, Southland

The junior picked off two passes for Southland.

Brock Johnson, DL, GM

The junior had 107 total tackles, 3 sacks, 2 and two fumble recoveries for the Larks.

Bryce Benson, DL, GM

The junior had 56 total tackles, 5 sacks, 3 fumble recoveries and 1 blocked kick.

Trevor Feuerhak, TE, Austin

The senior hauled in 22 passes 21 passes for 245 yards and 4 touchdowns for the Packers.
