Alice was born Feb. 6, 1911, in Freeborn County, the daughter of Tilford and Olena (Braaten) Johnson. She attend country school and worked for Reverend and Mrs. Rasmussen at Red Oak Grove before moving to Austin to work at the Geo. A. Hormel Co. Alice was married to Fred Dudycha in 1937. Mr. Dudycha died in 1949 and she was married to Albert Geffre in 1956 in Duluth, Minn. They made their home in Austin where she was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church. Alice has been a longtime resident of the Comforcare Good Samaritan Center in Austin.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Fred Dudycha and Albert Geffre, sisters, Harriet Ward and Nell Sconberg and brothers Lyle and Thomas Johnson.

She is survived by her son, The Reverend Lee (Leon) Dudycha, Savannah, Ga.; grandsons, Kirk Jason Dudycha and Kent Jeffery Dudycha, sister, Tonetta (Toni) Coddington, Austin; nephews, David and Gordon Sconberg and Steve Coddington, great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 26 at 1:30 p.m. at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend Kristi Koppel officiating. Friends may call from noon until the time of the service on Tuesday. Memorials are preferred to St. Olaf Lutheran Church.
