I support the re-election of Sheriff Amazi. After working with her on several animal cruelty cases, I have found her to be a knowledgeable, hardworking law enforcement officer with a big soft spot in her heart for animals. Many people don’t know about her personal commitment to helping abandoned, neglected and abused animals. She is very involved with the Mower County Humane Society, helping with fund-raisers and helping us clean the dog cages on Saturday mornings.

Over the past eight years Sheriff Amazi and her dedicated, hard-working deputies have done a great job for Mower County. I have yet to see any compelling reason to change leadership at the sheriff’s office.
