KSMQ to air gubernatorial debate

Last night’s gubernatorial debate with candidates Mark Dayton, Tom Emmer and Tom Horner will air on KSMQ Public Television at on Sunday, Oct. 31 at 12:30 p.m. The debate will also be re-broadcast statewide on the Minnesota Channel (KSMQ 15.4) on Thursday, Oct. 28 at 2 a.m., 8 a.m., and at 2 p.m. The broadcast is a joint production of KSMQ TV, Pioneer Public TV-Worthington, and Debate Minnesota. All the Election 2010 coverage will also be featured on www.ksmq.org.

Following the gubernatorial debate airing on Sunday afternoon, the complete roundtable discussion series, a co-production of KSMQ and KTTC Television, will air from 2 to 4:30 p.m. The roundtable discussion series spotlights key races throughout southern Minnesota such as the State Senate District 30 race, State Representative District 29A race, State Representative District 31B race, and the State Senate District 27 race. The discussions were moderated by KTTC news anchor Tom Overlie.
